If you’re already here thinking about trophies or achievements, you’ve surely read what we wrote about this first episode of the The Fate of Atlantis DLC. But if you haven’t, click here and read it right now.
The achievements for The Fate of Atlantis: Ep. 1: Fields of Elysium are very easy! Without the Cult or the Order of the Ancients to make us search the map, the difficulty has plummeted. So let’s get to it:
Trophy/Achievement: Blasphemer
The Statues of Persephone represent the goddess’s influence over Elysium and are scattered across various regions. Destroying the Marble Maiden Tributes is great because for each statue destroyed, you easily gain an ability point!
And to make it even better, by destroying all the Tributes to Persephone on the map, you get an achievement or trophy (Blasphemer), depending on your console.
On the map, the icon for the statues is, believe it or not: a white statue:
Trophy/Achievement: No More Rulers
The overseers are Persephone’s representatives in Elysium. Each one leads a region, and there are only three regions! By killing all three, you receive the trophy/achievement: No More Rulers. Super easy.
Trophy/Achievement: Gathering Full Strength
To get this trophy, we need to find the 4 Keeper’s Insights, which is part of the A Growing Perception mission. The good part is that you already start with clues to find three of them. And besides these already good clues, following the ? on the map will also help you discover the last insight.
In addition to getting the achievement/trophy, you also upgrade your abilities. We talked a lot about these abilities in the post [Assassin’s Creed Odyssey] The Fate of Atlantis: Ep. 1: Fields of Elysium.
Insight in the Buried Cave of Silence
I was at the Acropolis of Persephone and while looking for the ? on the map, I found the Buried Cave of Silence.
It is located in the Asphodel Fields:
This insight upgraded my Battlecry of Ares ability to Ares’s Madness, and it was incredible. This upgrade alone is worth the DLC XD.
Sanctuary of the Dead Heroes in Pheraia’s Retreat
I found the Sanctuary of the Dead Heroes after finding Gaia’s Underpass.
This insight upgrades the Slow Time ability to Kronos’ Time Warp.
Sunken Mouth of the Styx in Pheraia’s Retreat
This Insight will unlock the upgrade for the Rain of Destruction ability to Might of Artemis.
Veiled Altar of Hermes
I found the Ruins of Rhadamanthos while I was weakening Persephone’s control in Minos’s Faith. And I ended up finding the Keeper’s Insight accidentally on purpose at the Veiled Altar of Hermes.
This Keeper’s Insight unlocks the Ares’s Bull Charge ability, which is the upgrade for the Bull Rush ability.
Trophy/Achievement: In the Face of the Gods
You get this trophy during the story; it’s unmissable. You have a conversation with Adonis and do the Dead Kings and Pretty Things mission, and then you have to find the Spartan warrior.
Okay… from the trophy’s name, you can already guess who the hero is, but honestly, my heart really wished it was Brasidas. Okay, it makes no sense for it to be him, but who says the heart makes any sense?
Trophy/Achievement: The Conqueror
You’ll simply have to beat the DLC, obviously. But just beating it isn’t enough; you’ll have to do the side quest Free Their Minds, the Rest Will Follow.
The side quest is also very easy and not tedious. You just need to free the soldiers from Persephone’s mind control without killing them.
It’s pretty cool to see “Freed Rebel Recruit” and the recruit’s name appear. When the mission starts, you’ll have a counter of how many recruits you’ve freed in each region. You have to free 8 soldiers, any human type, which means only excluding the Kolossi, in each of the three regions.
There’s no point in freeing the soldiers from the beginning of the game; they won’t be counted. The game only starts counting the liberations from the mission Persephone’s Little Birds which is the mission immediately before Free Their Minds, the Rest Will Follow, at least that’s exactly what happened to me.
In summary:- Free 8 mind-controlled humans in Minos’s Faith;
- Free 8 mind-controlled humans in Pheraia’s Retreat;
- Free 8 mind-controlled humans in Deukalion’s Heritage.
After completing the side quest and continuing with the game, you’ll have a battle between Adonis’s soldiers and Persephone’s, which is reminiscent of the conquest battles from the base Assassin’s Creed Odyssey game.
Then you have to fight Hermes, but you’ve fought him before, haven’t you? So it will be easy. And then you face Persephone, and finally, with a simple flick, you get everything you wanted in the game and the achievement.
